Caring for your Luggie Scooter is pretty straightforward, but here are a few tips:

Clean your scooter

By cleaning your scooter you will prevent dust and grime getting into any moving parts and subsequently causing wear and tear.

Keeping it dry

If you get your scooter wet, dry it afterwards to help prevent rust setting in. Drying fabrics such as the seat cover will also prolong the life of your scooter.

Maintaining the battery

Ensure that you follow the manufacturer's guide to charging your scooter's battery. This will ensure that you receive the maximum travel range when using the mobility scooter and will also help extend the life of the battery. Some manufacturers specify you need to recharge your scooter after each time you use it, while some specify you only need to recharge it when it when the battery gauge tells you that battery charge is low.

Check your scooter manual

Your scooter manual may explain the weekly or monthly maintenance checks that are required for your exact scooter. This can include pumping up the tyres, lubricating the brake, checking the seat mechanism and so on.
